Brevity of The Soul
Brief, Solutions-Focused Therapy in Georgia & Florida
Soulful Support for LGBTQ+ Journeys
Why Therapy?
You may have spent years or even decades conforming to heteronormative expectations, leading to confusion and uncertainty about your true sexual orientation or identity.
You’ve likely also experienced fear of rejection and worry about losing important relationships or facing discrimination when showing up as your authentic self.
Perhaps you have tried therapy in the past and found it difficult to find a therapist with the knowledge, understanding, and sensitivity to effectively address your unique needs as an LGBTQ+ individual and/or Black Woman.
Experience Therapy That Meets YOUR Standard of Safety.
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”

The Steps to Start Your Healing
Experience Relief
I hold the belief that therapy should be brief. I am with you for an allotted period of time, whether weekly, biweekly or monthly. My goal as your Therapist is to equip you with the skills needed to get through issues as they arise. I want you to be able to utilize skills we develop together, across other areas of your life so that therapy doesn’t become a crutch or long term solution, unless necessary. Ultimately, I want you to become the best, self sufficient version of yourself.
CONNECT WITH ME
If you think I may be a good fit to help you navigate your life and relationships, contact me today. After you complete this brief form, I will follow up with you within 48 hours to schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation to help you learn more and feel confident in your decision to move forward.
You don't have to keep looking for "safe spaces", I can help you establish yourself as a source of safety.
AAMFT Approved Supervision
As an Approved Supervisor through the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), I am committed to providing high-quality clinical supervision that supports the professional development of aspiring therapists. Beyond guiding supervisees in their clinical skills, I prioritize the cultivation of self-care practices that prevent burnout and compassion fatigue. Further, I place a strong emphasis on cultivating culturally competent practices, recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusivity.
